What began as a fascination with horror, folklore, and the unseen has grown into a body of work dedicated to preserving the strange… the forgotten… and the things that refuse to stay buried.
Nova is not the voice within the stories - but the one who finds them, restores them, and decides which are safe enough to share.

Blending cinematic storytelling with atmospheric sound and a distinct sense of presence, Nova approaches horror not as spectacle—but as an experience. Each piece is crafted to feel lived-in, immersive, and quietly unsettling long after it ends.

OpenArt.ai is one of the creative tools Nightwood Studios currently uses to develop and animate the visual performances accompanying Nova Nightwood’s Obscura Archive. It helps us transform still artwork and designed scenes into subtle cinematic movement, allowing each story to extend beyond the audio broadcast and into a more immersive visual experience.
Our visual production process combines creative direction, storyboarding, editing, and AI-assisted tools to build the atmosphere of each file while maintaining the distinct identity of the Archive. We do not currently have an affiliate relationship with OpenArt.ai; we include it here simply to provide transparency about how the show is made.
